Many people take on New Year's resolutions that never seem to stick. In the photography world, the concept of a picture a day is pretty common but it also comes with warnings of how hard it really is. Carrying your camera with you every day and everywhere you go, coming up with something new to shoot, and then picking one photo for the day (which will be an interesting lesson of discipline for my indecisiveness as it is!) can be quite tedious. I decided to do this because my 2010 was warp speed! I was extremely focused on so many different things that I never actually go to "live" all the amazing moments that happened to me. These pictures might not all be interesting to everyone, they might stay unedited, and may even be taken with my camera phone (GASP! haha) At the end of this year I hope to have my camera feel more like another appendage, find the joy in the little things, stay disciplined, take some pictures of things for myself rather than my clients or family, and more importantly to be able to look back at 2011 as the amazing year I know it's going to be!
